I cannot say enough wonderful things about these two!! We arrived at the beach a little before sunrise so we could get to know each other a little better before we started shooting and come to find out we actually went to high school together and know a lot of the same people! How fun!! We had a great time dodging cars, fighting sand storms (ha!), climbing not so smooth rocks, posing with kind strangers that stopped multiple times to ask when the wedding is (no pressure, Anthony!), and indulging later in some amazing Mexican food in downtown City Place (where they had fried avocado - what?!). It was an amazing day and I can gladly say I gained two friends by the end of it!
I was extremely impressed and inspired by the way these two choose to live their life together. Last year they went to NINE different states. NINE! I loved hearing about their trip through Colorado and Anthony testing Yoli's fear of heights on their drive through the mountains, stopping to hang over the side of a cliff for the perfect shot (it's all worth it if you get a great picture out of it right?!). Traveling with your significant other is (in my opinion) one of the best ways to get to know them and how they respond to being out of their comfort zone - it's pretty clear that these two souls are one in the same. I was so incredibly blessed to have have the opportunity to capture their love for one another (and having SO MUCH FUN in the process)!! And can we talk about how gorgeous her promise ring is?!
You two are incredible, thank you for inviting me into your lives!!
